How to get ProRes 4444 XQ in AME?
Hi all,
I have FCP X (10.1.2) on my system, which does have ProRes 4444 XQ, but the codec doesn’t seem to be available in Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 (2014.0.1). Am I missing something? Do I have to do something to add it to AME, or should I just be waiting for an update from Adobe?

Did you ever get this installed?
I did … but when I tried encoding, it error-ed out.
Not sure why, as the plain 4444 version works.

Alas, I never did. I haven’t really needed it for VFX work lately within AE, but if you figure it out, please do post some information here!

Hi, I followed the instructions but I must be missing something. AME listed ProRes 4444 XQ but upon export it failed. I am using a Mac Book Pro and AME CC 2015.
