How to Get Full Windows Explorer for AE?

March 6, 2010 at 5:44 pmHi everyone,
I have a silly question, but it would certainly help relieve a lot of frustration.
I really like the improvements made to Windows Explorer in Vista and Win7. However, when I go to import any media or open a project within AE on a Windows machine, I seem to get a stripped-down version of Explorer that lacks my handy shortcuts. The same seems to be true for all Adobe products. I distinctly remember a checkbox that read “use OS dialogue” in some older versions of CS, and didn’t know if I was missing something in CS4.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

March 7, 2010 at 3:40 amI’m sorry, but my question pertains to the fact that there are certain options in Windows Explorer (like shortcuts, etc) that are not a part of the Explorer dialogue within AE.
If anyone has any insights into this matter, I would gladly like to hear them!
Thanks!
