Hi. how do I get two separate clips to automatically cross fade when I overlap them?
How do I get the audio to fade but not the video for example?
Is there a way to ensure that clips automatically line up? sometimes I get clips that have a split second of separation and I get a black area in the video after render… thanks

    Hello Kyle

Put your clips side by side. Leave a bit of space to be able to work. Ungroup the video tracks from the audio tracks. Extend your audio tracks out by, say, 15 frames. Regroup your video with the audio. Move one of the clips towards the other so that there is no gap (black) between the 2 video tracks. Notice that when you moved the tracks, the 2 audio tracks overlapped. adjust to your liking. Note that since they are now regrouped, if you move the audio of a clip to where it was before all of this process, it will again be tied to the video.

    Cheers !
