Is there anyway to get Invig Pro not to render every frame if there are no animated parameters? I notice that even if nothing is animated, Invig renders every frame (which leads to really long render times).

Right now, I’m rendering out a still, importing it and then replacing my Invig layer with it.

Is there a way to freeze the current view?

You could drag the out point of the scene (the red marker at the top of the timeline) so that the rendered movie is only a couple of frames long, render it as a pict or targa sequence, and only import the first image…. that might work.
