Hello guys, long time no see!

I even had to sign in with new account, it has been so long! Anyways, I have a tricky question- I want to batch export files from same sequence. How to force unique names with premiere pro 2023 export via media encoder? I do not want to have these individual clips in different sequences. ME does not name them _1, _2 and so on, it just exports clips on top of each other with the same name…

Cheers guys, I hope someone has solved this!

Hello, it’s great to have you back again.

Here’s a solution, please select the “Use Previews” option in the export options while configuring the output in the media encoder. This way, the media encoder will export the clips while maintaining the sequence order, exactly as they appear in the premiere pro 2023 project panel.

Also, you can guarantee unique names by modifying the export parameters. Look for the “Output Name” field in the media encoder’s export options dialog. Make sure you use a custom name that varies with each export or include a variable like #.

If you set the output name to “YourBaseName_#,” for instance, the media encoder will automatically add sequential numbers to the produced files. By doing this, you can prevent overwriting similar named files. Thanks for remembering us.
