How to fix problems importing MP4 (SONY EX3) and MXF (C300) into Premiere!
YES! THERE IS A SOLUTION! (at least worked for me…)
After weeks of research about how to properly import MP4 files (from a SONY EX3) and MXF files (from a C300) in PREMIERE I finally found a solution that DID WORK.
You need to install the Calibrated{Q} MXF or MP4 Importer (depending on what you need) and the Calibrated{Q} XD Decode. BOTH.
You can download a demo version (for both, MAC and PC) and try them. They are not free but it totally worth it.

What ? I’ve never had any problems importing mp4/mxf formats into Premiere. It supports most of the formats and you can work natively ! Or is this just in Premiere Pro CC ,that I have ?

CS6 here… Yeah, It was new for me too! It started happening when my company changed the computer. But it was real! and it was a pain.
