  • How to fix dark footage in AE3?

I had no choice but to shoot an interview in an office with very poor lighting. adjusting the gain on the cam helped a little but I did’nt want to do it too much or it looks grainy. I hoped I could do more in Post. I have APP3 and AE3- never had this problem before so I’m not sure what capabilities these programs have to fix it, if any. I figure I can capture the footage in PP then adjust it in AE since thats where I’ll be doing most of the work anyway.
Can AE fix this minor problem?

It depends on how “minor” the problem really is, but AE certainly has tools to manipulate the color.

Try Levels or Curves to start with.
