  • How to fix clipping audio???!!!

Posted by Sarah Robinson on July 18, 2014 at 9:13 am

    Hi Guys,
I’m new to this but I have an urgent problem that I’m having a heart attack over. Recorded this audio https://www.squidproductions.com.au/RequestAudioOnly.zip with footage and it sounds terrible, I think it’s really bad audio clipping. Is there ANYTHING at all that can be done. I’ve tried fixing it but honestly have no idea when it comes to audio. Wondering if any amazing person would be able to help me? I’m happy to pay for it to be fixed or if anyone can give me advice on what on earth to do as it can’t be re-filmed and it’s urgent work.
Thank you so much in advance!

    Hi Peter,
Thank you so so much for taking the time to help. Is the file not downloading at all or is the file not working?
There’s a gap of no audio at the beginning but if you skip the start you should be able to here it then.
Please let me know how you go. If not I’ll happily upload again.
    Biggest Thanks
    Sarah

    7767_requestaudioonly.aac.zip

I think I did it correctly. It gave me this link via the upload button.
Please let me know if I’ve done it incorrectly. Thank you so so much again.

Hi restoration software won’t work with an AAC file.
Do you have it as a WAv , auff or mp3
