October 14, 2011 at 2:52 pmi think it would be great if blackmagic adds a tab to minimise the resolve application so that it can fit to any display size.

October 14, 2011 at 3:36 pmMaybe you should upgrade to version 8.1 since support for that laptop is now part of the application.

October 14, 2011 at 4:28 pmHey Prathvish
With the 8.1 Release we have added Support for Early 2011 MacBook Pro 15” with 1680×1050 display. At the moment we do not have any support for any lower Resolution screens.
It may be possible to adjust your screen but I don’t have any help or info in this area i’m afraid.
Thanks!
Dan

October 14, 2011 at 4:37 pmDoes your 15″ display have 1650×1080 resolution (which is what was added in 8.1), or 1440×900 resolution, which is not supported?

October 14, 2011 at 4:42 pmThe stock 15″ Macbook Pro comes with a 1440×900 resolution display. The “Hi-Res” 1680×1050 display is an upgrade option. My guess is you might have the standard display.

October 14, 2011 at 9:26 pmNot closed just out of solutions I’m afraid.
The only suggestion I could give you is to plug in an external monitor with a higher resolution.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
