October 14, 2011 at 10:12 pmSnow Leopard allowed to change the size of the display on per app basis. This way Resolve worked fine on PB. That command no longer works under Lion. May be someone can figure out an equivalent command for Lion?

October 15, 2011 at 10:17 amAnyone looked into statistics which Apple 15″ have been sold more offten ?
Personally I would have gotten the bigger one too, but hey, its a bummer if all those are left out of this great tool just because of 100 pixels missing.
Hey Prathvish , does it scroll at least ?A slice of color…

October 16, 2011 at 10:39 amActually if you really like Resolve, go and ditch that Lion.
The scale down trick works totally fine on Snow and will bring back your toy.
No need to be all down, if you need it there will be a way , even if it means dual boot:)A slice of color…

December 28, 2011 at 3:21 amI don’t mean to sound like a jerk, but I’m really struggling to accept these non-solutions (such as reverting to an older OS, although it’s granted that Lion is also lacking in many areas) to what I consider to be a design oversight. I would have expected to read something like, “We are working on a solution to this issue,” not, “sorry, the extra 150px means you’re out of luck.” One of the best features about the new Resolve is the fact that it runs on MBP… except for the vast majority of the new ones. Is there really no solution for this other than toting an external monitor around with me everywhere I go?

September 8, 2014 at 8:52 pmTry to change your display resolution – in system pref-> displays ->’Scaled’ – More Space.
Restart DaVinci and you will get a message to reset UI settings. Accept it and it should work.
ciao
