How to export from Vegas to DVD architect without re-encode (lossless)
My problem is the same as everyone else who has a HDV videocamera and Sony DVD architect – DVD architect won’t accept HDV files (or any other MPEG file) unless it has been exported from Sony Vegas using a special bluray re-encode profile. I thought that also buying a Sony HDV camera would make it easy…was I ever wrong!
It seems that only when exporting the MPEG2 video file from Sony Vegas, using the bluray profile, Sony DVD architect will accept the file with no need to re-encode the video stream. I have tried every single “save as…” option in the latest VideoReDo, but to no avail. The following screenshot from Sony DVD architect shows just this:

So how does one “pack” the MPEG2 video data so that DVD architect will accept the data, without the need to re-encode. My Source data is 1440x1080i MPEG2…and DVD architect wants just that. But…only if served in a very special way, it seems.
I have, for this testing purpose, uploaded two video files

https://www.mitip.dk/mpeg/Bluray.zipI can accept re-encode of the audio (as it’s a first encode anyways), but it seems like madness to re-encode MPEG2 1440x1080i to…just the same, for no other reason than DVD architect not being able to handle it. If any software exists that will transcode without loss, please share the name of the program? I have already tried all MPEG2 HD profiles in VideoReDo, that was a no-go :-/
