  • How to export a PDF file from Photshop reducing its size

    Hello everybody,

The problem I have is the following.
I need to convert a scanned image to a PDF file. The original file is a TIF and I thought that when you export it to a PDF file, the size reduces. The thing is that when I do this, it actually reduces, but not much and I need a very light file. The way I do this is to save the image as (Save As) PDF file, because there is not an option for PDF in the Export option. My version of Photoshop is CS3. The other way that I was trying was to open the converted PDF with Adobe Acrobat (also CS3) and export it again as a PDF, but it doesn´t allow me to do this. It says that some setting in the Preflight is not allowing it to do the opperation. What should I do? The original size of the TIf is about 4 mgb and when I export it with Photoshop is about 470 kb, and I need a file about 100 kb. What can you guys suggest me?
