How to engage multiple track motions to work together?
Hi,
I am using Vegas Pro 10(d), and would like to know if it is possible to set up several tracks so that their track motion is synchronized in such a way that if I change one track motion the others will proportionately make the same adjustments. An example might be to have a number of flat displays nested within each other and you want to create the effect of passing through each plane to the next display. I know this can be done manually by setting keyframes on each track but it would be so much easier if it could done with an automatic response on all the tracks engaged.-Phil

Hmmm, might not be what you want to have happen, but you can make ALL the children of a Parent Track, and then when you manipulate that Parent Track’s Motion all the Children fly around in unison.

Graham is right. Parent Motion will achieve what you want. Here are two tutorials on my web site to show you how to use Parent Motion.
