ok i just got a sony walkman the 16 gb one and i’m wanting to put vids on it. well so far i hook it up on my pc or ps3 and i can easily drag and drop jpeg pictures and mp3 music on it with ease and no problems. then when i drag and drop vids, it won’t take it it says its not supported. i dl a buttload of mp4 converters and still nothing. when i drag it it won’t play it.

so in vegas what is the proper setting to upt on yur vegas 8 to render it so i can play it on my mp3 player??? there has to be a way.

You will have to read the specs on your Sony Walkman and try and figure out what video formats it supports. Knowing it’s MP4 alone is meaningless because there are multiple profiles and resolutions and all sorts of parameters that could cause it not work. You might have to contact Sony Walkman support. These players (Walkman, Zune, iPod, PSP) all take different video formats and the consumer is left with nothing but incompatibilities. It’s a shame they can’t agree on a standard. See if there is a Walkman forum where someone may have does this already.
