  • how to draw a 3d line using 2 coordinates exported from Cinema 4D?

I have 3D map of the earth rendered in Cinema 4D, exported out the camera and lights. I have added font labels to two of the light coordinates in AE (looks great), now I need to create a line from point A to point B in AE using the coordinates from two lights. Any suggestions? I am stumped.

Create a long line shaped solid, put the anchor point near one edge then make it target the other point using this simple code on the orientation property:

    lookAt(position,thisComp.layer(“target”).position)

If you have trapcode particular, you can emit Particles with zero speed from your light.
this will create a nice 3d line.
