How to do a triangle and circle with “pen pressure”

Hi! I would like to do a draw like this (see file attached) but with the pen pressure and lights. I know how to do the effect with a single line for example, but I don´t know how to do it with a triangle because the “part more slim only is in the end of the path and I can´t put 3 paths together ( I don´t know why) and the apply the effect. 

I would like to do this “logo” a lot better because in this way is very basic (the lines like above)
