  How to do a 3D hollow sphere of a 2d circle for animating a stick figure head in 3d space?

  So, I don’t know the logistics of how to accomplish this, but I thought it would be easier to animate in 3d, than 2d (As that would require drawing in multiple angles once I knew how (With your help ;)…

  I want to animate a stick figure head, and make it look like it’s looking around at things.

  The head is designed as a hollow circle, but also with a hat, another with hair, etc, so that’s the tricky part…

  Any guidance, or links tutorials would help so much!
