How to delete cut segment from clip without unlinking?
Hello all, thanks for the help, as always.
Sorry if this seems obvious, but I can’t figure it out.
I have taken an audio track and synced it with the existing audio from the video clip, I’ve done this by linking them. The problem is, when I make a cut and go to delete the piece that I just cut, it highlights the rest of the clip that it is linked to. If I delete it, I have to ctrl+l to unilnk, delete and then ctrl+l again to link them back together. This can’t be right.
Is there a way to make anything I cut automatically separate itself from the other clip while simultaneously linking itself together?
I hope this makes sense.
