I have video clips with two people and I want to cut one of them out to take that part and sit it beside another chopped clip. I hope I am explaining this well, not really sure how to. Please Help. When I have looked this up it tells how to split video clips but that isn’t what I need.

Use the event pan and crop, deselect maintain aspect ratio, and crop out the person you dont want, then use track motion to position it to the side you want. Do the same with the second event but position it to the other side. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

    Hi Danny,
Thanks so much for the tip. However, I am having a problem, when I do like you said it works for that frame, but then in another frame the clip has moved. It does this several places. If you know of a trick to stop this please let me know.
    Thanks
    Mitzi

You should be placing them on the timeline on two tracks, one obove the other. With you positioning one on each side, both should be visable. FYI, the upper track will cover the lower tracks where they overlap.
