Hello guys, im wondering how they created the effect of the ink used as a matte and a distortion on this video, all the tutorials i see dont come close to something like that..
i think they used he ink as a matte, layered, and colored, but im sure theres a lot more on this effect… -

They may have used smoke as a Luma Matte.
Digitaljuice.com also has some ink bleed on paper type stuff. in their motion designers toolkit Volume 6, 7 or 8 I believe.
