  • How to create HD subtitles in DVD Studio Pro

I made a set of DVDs with multi-subtitles in DVD Studio Pro. But the quality of subtitles imported from subtitle software (FinalSub) is very low. It really looks bad especially compared with sub in Final Cut Pro. However I need to use only one video track with 2 subtitles in DVD Studio Pro rather than making two video clips with different subtitles on it by FCP. It will occupy double disc space. Does anyone know how to make HD subtitles in DVD Studio Pro? Thanks a lot for your help!

    Yu-Ming,
you can´t create HD-subtitle for SD-DVDs, and HD-DVD is a dead format that died approx. 5 years ago.

if you want to have HD-content on a disc you need to create a blu-ray disc.

    cheers

    Hi Danny,

Thanks so much for your reply.
When I make subtitles in Final Cut Pro and burn DVD in DVD Studio Pro, the subtitle quality is acceptable. But when I import subtitles into DVD Studio Pro, the quality is horrible. Can subtitles in DVD SP at least have the similar quality with FCP? Any subtitle setting in DVD SP?
    Really appreciate your help~
