How to create H264 .mov Quicktime files from Vegas.
When a client asks for a H264 quicktime you have to keep them happy.
I have tested this for the past few months and it works well.
To start click on FILE / RENDER AS.Then select MainConcept AVC/AAC(mp4)…Select a template or create your own… I personally do not select the allow source checkboxes and define the frame size and frame rate..After all your info is in create the .mp4 file… When it is done… change the file extension from .mp4 to .mov. Your video will now open up in quicktime (and Final Cut) and read as a quicktime H264 file with AAC audio. It will even fool the Macheads.. Ken-Postique
