How to create black=transparent (luna Matte) effect
I have filmed a increasingly black sequence and want After effects to make everything black = transparent. I was told that this is called a Luna Matte effect but I cant figure out how to apply this.
Anyone know?

Put your greyscale layer on top of another layer. On the lower layer from the blendmodes/ matte modes simply choose Luma Matte.
