This personal project I’m working on is a documentation of how a “road less traveled” despite it’s unorthodox nature, can lead you to the stars.

What I’m asking, how do i create these individual lines in the city I’ll be photographing? Is this is the right program for what I’m asking?
And I also (bear with me) want to create a single image where I have one of the lines extending into the sky like so:

Draw a spline for each path and sweep a flattened rectangle along it.
