  how to create 1-2 frame white flash

  I am new to After Effects and have CS3 with trapcode shine plugin added. I’m trying to create that very brief brilliant white flash that is seen sometimes between cuts as a transition. Is there a tutorial or method any of you could suggest. I could just add a 2 frame white solid layer but am thinking there is a better way.

  Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated
