  • how to copy an event from Macintosh HD to a scratch disk?

Hi, so this is a bit of a weird question, so bear with me on this one.

I’m syncing footage from three cameras in Plural Eyes 3, and then exporting out to Final Cut X.

However, when I export from Plural Eyes, it sends everything to my Macintosh HD.

My question, how do I now copy that synced event to my scratch disk?

Thanks in advance, you guys are always life savers.

    **edit**

Just thought I should add, I synced the clips originally using the Plural Eyes software directly, rather than via FCP. Perhaps I should export from FCP X – PE?

When you open FCP you should see the connected scratch disk. Then you pull the event icon from your internal drive to the scratch disk icon. FCP will ask you for a new name, when its done duplicating you can delete the old event.
