How to convert an HD 720p60 timeline to DVCAM
Hi, I have a project that I just finished and thought this last part would be easy. I am sending my project to be reviewed by a council that might give me a grant, and I have to send it on DVCAM in 16×9 Anamorphic. I thought I could use the “Print to Tape” feature in FCP directly from my timeline, but it’s not working.
What is the best way to get my project (HD, 720p60, edit timebase 24) out onto my DVCAM deck? I have a company that will do it for me, but it will cost me nearly $500 and I would like to avoid that if at all possible.

Export a self contained QT file.
Reimport that.
Make a new sequence…DV/NTSC Anamorphic.
drop the clip into that sequence (do not have the sequence adjust to the clip settings).
Render.
Print to tape.Shane
