    Just looking to batch capture. Do not mind using Adobe Prem 1.5/2.0 or BM Deckcontrol. The Sony J3 deck only has RS232C.

    we used to have one of these
    I think you just hook it up with a standard rs422 cable

    You are right.

    I thought the (Remote In) connector was a proprietry Sony control port but it works .
