Hello everyone, I’m new to this Forum but thought maybe someone could help.

I’ve built a few characters in their own pre-comps with null object controllers. I put these pre-comps into the scene comp but now I have to go into each pre-comp to animate the characters with their null objects.
I’ve tried making corresponding null object controllers on the characters in the scene comp and then linking them to the null object controllers in the character comps, but because the character comp and scene comps are different sizes, I get off set problems.

Can anyone help? Is there a way that I can use my null object controllers in my scene comp? Maybe there is an expression I can use that links my character null objects to corresponding null objects on my character in the scene comp?

The likely answer is the fromWorld(pickwhip master null position here) expression for the position value of your precomp null links. It could be more complex than that.
