  • How to consolidate Multicam Audio Tracks after deleting

I have some multicam sequences that are a combination of 2 camera angles and dual system sound, and I’ve gone in and cleaned up and deleted audio tracks I’m not using for sequence of simplicity in the sequence. In the Multicam Sequence, the tracks are as they should be, as I’ve cleaned them up to be, with only 5 tracks of audio, BUT when I try and edit in some footage from the Multicam clip into a sequence, it wants to still patch in the same amount of tracks it originally had, which is 16.

It’s not a huge deal, but just for cleanliness in the timeline and simplicity, I was wondering how do I get the Multicam clip to register the proper amount of audio tracks, so it’s only displaying that many to patch in.

Does that make sense? Thanks for any help.

Right click on the multicam clip in the project been and try Modify/Audio Channels. You should be able to change it there.
