  • How to clone splines and have them morph over the count

Posted by Andre Ash on January 23, 2019 at 1:47 pm

I’m looking to clone splines and have them morph over the count.

So the first spline in the clone count is a square and the last clone is a circle.

Like what the loft nurb does but without creating the polygons that join them.

    Any ideas

See screenshot and imagine the last shape is a square.

Here is another screenshot of a square becoming a circle using a loft nurb, but as you can see it create all the rest of the geometry. Also you I can’t align a loft nurb to bend along a curve.

    Please help.

in the cloner that’s what the Clones setting is for in the object tab of the cloner. It defaults to Iterate but you want Blend (check the help for better info) – it needs editable splines and it seems to work best with similar numbers of points in the splines and if Intermediate Points is set to none (with a lot of points for smoothness)
