    How to change HDV clips to DV NTSC while maintaining motion/size changes

    Hi,

    I am shooting HDV on a Sony ZIU and would like to capture using HDV (instead of down converting to SD) so that I can exploit the 1440×1080 frame size in order to move around the frame (i.e. simulate a dolly shot)

    Capture using an HD codec so you can edit in HD. To down rez. to SD you need to use a specific card to do that like the Kona 2 or take it to a post house that can do it for you.
