How to change editing time base to 48 in FCP 5
In the sequence presets editor, is there not a way to change the editing time base to 48? I’m pulling footage from a GoPro shot at 48 fps and am not seeing how to make my sequence the same frame rate.
I’m using FCP 5.1.4

Is the 48fps not meant to be slow motion? If so you need to be in a 24fps timeline. 48fps run at 48 is not slow motion

And there is no video standard for 48fps. No playback device really does that. 24, 25 (PAL), 30, 50 (PAL), 60.
Yeah, if you want slow motion, you gotta use that 48fps in a 24fps project. BUT…you need to slow it down externally. Use Cinema Tools:
