How to change color of keyframe??
Posted by Vipati Hitesh on June 10, 2013 at 4:22 pmHello All,
Here I have a silly question but if anyone help me, It will be very useful for me. Can I change color of keyframe? Normally, it’s gray colored but can I change it’s color??
E.G.- We can change color of mask by going in Preferences > Appearance > Cycle Mask Colors
For example, 1st keyframe is red colored, 2nd is yellow, 3rd is green etc.
Thanks in advance,
Vipati

June 11, 2013 at 12:10 pmYou can’t change colors but you can index keyframes numerically – the Timeline’s flyout menu allows you to set keyframe view to Index (or indices).

June 11, 2013 at 4:57 pmMost, if not all, panels in AE have a menu at the top right. Mousedown on the menu icon to access features/properties for the specific panel.

June 11, 2013 at 5:11 pmHello Roland,
Sorry for asking same question again, but still I am not getting that menu.
As far as I understand you want to tell that I can give numbers to keyframes like 1,2,3 etc, Right??
Are you pointing out workspace menu, which is on top right corner with options All panel, animation, Effects, Minimal, Paint, Standard, Text etc.
Thanks again for giving time to my question.

June 12, 2013 at 4:40 amEvery panel has a menu at its top right corner. It’s very obvious if you look at the top right of each panel.
To select viewing of Keyframe Indices, this option is available in the Timeline Panel’s flyout menu (also called wing menu and dropdown menu).

June 12, 2013 at 4:38 pmHey ! I got that menu. Thank you very much for your support. Now I can index keyframes numerically, it will be great if I can change color of keyframes but if it’s not possible, Indexing keyframes is better.
Thanks,
V!pati
