How to blend png file in After Effects
I have a .png file which is a logo on a transparent background created in Photoshop. I want to apply Red Giant’s Trapcode Shine to the logo but when I do the light rays reach the edge of the png layer. I am trying to make it so the light rays extend into the rest of my comp but I am not sure how. Sorry if I don’t know the right terminology, I am self taught and still very new to all this.

Search your plugs list for Grow Bounds and add that above Shine in the Effects Panel list.
