How to best download to YouTube?
Tips how to download a GoPro Hero3 video from FCP to youtube maintaining a smooth and vivid video would be most welcome.
Here is couple of trials. The first one transferred directly from FCP in original GoPro 2.7k format, the second one colours a bit punched and first saved as 1080p QuickTime for Web services.
On the second one I also added some blur to the original 2.7K before saving in 1080P, to filter some details and noise away, hoping it would be easier for the YouTube codec to maintain smooth playback. The original video is very smooth, but not so when played back in Youtube, especially at higher resolutions.
The strange thing is that sometimes it plays back almost smooth, sometimes just bad.
Maybe I should try Vimeo would that be any better on fast movements.

I finally treated a Vimeo account and downloaded a bit edited version of tho one above, with same settings directly from FCPX.

What a difference, there is none of those dropping frame issues than with Youtube!
