  • How to avoid fields when using DynamicLink

    Hi 🙂

when importing AE Compositions via Dynamic Link into Premiere they alway use fields. For reasons of painless DVD MPEG encoding I use a Premiere interlaced preset. But my footage is 100% progressive. Which works fine.

So I also do my AE Compositions without fields. Which of course also works fine when rendering them into a file and importing the results into my Premiere timeline.

But for some compositions I would like to import the composition via Dynamic Link. And then that AE composition has fields. Clearly to see from that “smooth” look when something is moved or rotated like a text or graphic.

By setting a check for deinterlacing in Premiere I clearly loose half the resolution, which is not good – of course 🙂

So is there a way of interpreting the Dynamic Link compositions ?

    Or another solution ?

    Thanks!

    Peter
