how to animate a line curing up into a spiral
Hi, I’m new to the forum. Have heard great reviews of the site so wondering if someone could help.
Hard to explain, but I’m trying to animate a line that curls/spirals up into ball. A bit like those party blowers that you blow and it unwraps and makes that annoying sound! But in reverse.
Im pretty new to after effects and I thought I could create the effect using the trim path effect but struggling to get the result I want.
Any help would be appreciated.

I just stumbled upon your message, and I already had After Effects open so I thought it was easier to show and not tell ????

Trying to direct what you had done. Never new about the twist effect. had to google where to find it, but now I know, yaaaa!!
