  • How to add/create motion button in Encore 2.0

Can someone advise me of the steps to add video motion buttons to a menu in Encore 2.0. When I drag and drop a video from the timeline or the project Window it creates a text by the video’s name. I would like to have a little preview of the video as the click-able item on the menu.

I notice there are templates that have a little squares that if I drop the same video item into one of those squares it shows an image rather than just the text name.

Thanks in advance for any comments on this.

You need to have a button that has a video layer in it. The layer prefix for a video layer is (%). All it really is is a layer with rectangle that defines the area you want the video to be shown in. You can either set this up using Photoshop, or you can just use one of the existing video buttons and modify it with Encore or Photoshop for the appearance you want.
