how to add Log Note column to Log&Transfer browser?
I am vetting clips in Log&Transfer (FCP 7.0.1), & want to show the Log Note column in the Log&Transfer browser.
When I right-click on the column heads, there is a list of available columns to show/hide.
Log Note column is not listed.
The closest thing is “Memo”, but I don’t see how to enter text in Memo field.I have not yet imported any clips – just previewing – but the scene & shot # I added do appear in the Log&Transfer browser list – so not sure why Log Note wouldn’t show up.

The columns are for information that comes from the camera metadata.
The log note is entered in the right hand panel under scene, take, and angle.

Thanks, yes I see where to add the log note (and did so).
The scene & take info then do show up in their columns on the left-hand side, but there is no column for the log note.
So I went looking for that column – if I right-click on the columns, I see the choices of column headings which can be included (created by, media duration, memo, etc.) – but they don’t include ‘log note’.Maybe log notes are only displayed once a clip is actually imported?

The log notes are not in the columns in the log and transfer window. That is for metadata from the media. The log notes are added in separately by you and appear in the browser after you ingest the media.
