    hello
    if anybody know how do i give my timeline a film kine of look
    my staf was shot in 420dv and i want it to look like it was shoot in film camera
    someone told me to mixdown it in 2s:1
    but it looks very stroby
    anyone as an idea ?

    go into the BCC effects, I think there is a film effect one or film process, something like that.

    Strobey is what people associate film look with. Rather than mixing down to 2:1s (which is a quarter frame resolution), I would do a same-as-source mixdown, then add a Timewarp, set it to 100% speed, choose ‘Interlaced’ as input, choose ‘Progressive’ as output, and choose either FluidMotion or Blended Interpolated.
    Other than that, there are plugins that simulate film looks by boosting color and/or contrast. One trick that usually helps a bit is actually desaturating, while adding contrast.

    for a quick and dirty output (useful for quick sport edits) just add a Timewarp at 100% and leave at the default: duplicate field, it just throws every other field away.

    It plays without rendering.
