  How to acheive a look similar to Skycaptian and the world of tommorrow

  what are the best plugins or process to acheive the look of Skycaptian and the world of tommorrow. I know they used a 3 strip process(a desaturated look where the blacks are crushed and the whites really pop) for the color correction and they gave it a soft glow look.
