    Hi,

How can i roll in a narrator’s name and title as he or she comes on screen, similar to the effect seen in this video:

    https://video.techsmith.com/camtasia/…=425&width=586

When the person first appears you notice the caption or callout, whatever you want to call it roll in, displaying his name and title and then few seconds later it rolls out

It is like when you are watching the news, once the person is on screen a label displays his or her name.

can some please show me how this is done.

The more detailed steps the better but i will take whatever you can offer 🙂

    Link not found 🙁
I don’t know what you call those things either, I always called them ‘crawls’.
Anyway, I try to do that type of graphic in after effects, and save the animation Premultiplied with an Alpha (Millions+ Colors). If the animation is premultiplied, you won’t need to mess with any Premiere filters to matte the graphic.
You could also create a graphic in Photoshop, drop it into Premiere, than control it’s motion by adding keyframes in the Effect Controls/Motion palette.. or you could fade in/out, straight cut, whichever.
Another consideration is, do the graphics need to be interlaced?
