how the heck do i get my guides back??? URGENT!!!
okay so here’s the scoop! i’ve been teaching myself illustrator for the last month. i have a project i’ve been working on for a cartoon tortoise. when i intially began working on illustrator as i would draw the program would automatically show the PATHS(???) of each individual line as i passed over it with my selection tool. it would also show interesct point, anchor, handle, path, and GUIDE lines to help me keep things straight or symmetrical. well just yesterday illustrator just stopped showing these “GUIDES” i guess and now when i draw i can’t tell if i’m snaping points together or where handles and other things are along the path because these “Guides” aren’t there anymore!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT AND HOW TO GET THESE “GUIDE” LINES BACK??? I’M SORRY IF MY EXPLANATON IS WEAK BUT I’M IN A CRUNCH! thanks for any of your suggestions!
