How slow is your machine when displaying wave forms ?

March 25, 2021 at 8:58 amHello,
Displaying the wave forms of my audio tracks makes my timeline very slow responsive when zooming in and out and I am not talking about playback yet. At a point where I have taken the habit to turn it on and off when I am done using it for synchro for example. Otherwise I simply can’t work properly.
I have a GTX 1080, 32Gig of RAM, 4GH Intel core I7, I work on SSDs and I am always surprised by how slow my machine is when displaying the wave forms with Davinci Studio 15.
Maybe there is something I did not set up correctly ? Do you experience the same thing ?
Thanks for your input.

March 25, 2021 at 10:34 pmResolve has vastly improved performance since version 15. Try Resolve 17. Or even 16. I was using a similar speced PC on 16 and it didn’t struggle the way you are describing.
