    Nope. Converting would be a waste of time and disk space. You don’t gain quality by up-converting. You are stuck with the source quality as shot.

    Well, you could earn quality if you planning on exporting, then re-edit that exported file and then continue that loop a few times! So in other words, there is really no meaning in converting to a different codec unless your editing software has issues working with it, which in your case (Premiere Pro) shouldn’t be a problem!
