  How much free space does Cinema 4D need on an SSD?

  I’m planning to purchase a bunch of iMacs with 256GB internal SSD. The plan is to have all of the media on external drives, and only use the 256GB SSD for the OS and applications, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
   
  1. Does Cinema 4D need/use a certain % of space on a drive/SSD to perform optimally?
  2. Do the accumulated temp files, render files, etc. end up taking much space?
