How many times do I dare to nest Projects within Projects?
Is this a permissable— and advisable— workflow technique:
1. I do a brief video/audio segment of several seconds, then save it as a Project (SEGMENT 1.VEG)
2. I bring that segment into a new Project… then add some more audio and video to it. I then save this second segment, and call it SEGMENT2.VEG
3. I begin a new Project… Import SEGMENT2.VEG as an embedded track…. Add some more video/audio to the Timeline, and save it as SEGMENT 3.VEG
….Do you see where I am going with this? Embedding projects as tracks, and doing so repeatedly.
Is this entirely a kosher– and advisable– workflow?
VEGAS PRO 9 can handle it? And it can give me a smooth, seamless final render when I am finished doing all this nesting?
Or am I asking for trouble at rendering time?
Thanks,
DAVE
