How many GB do I have left on the Canon 5D mkII
Hi all,
I have been shooting video with my 5D and I’ve come across an issue that I’m hoping someone will be able to help me with.
How do you tell how many GBs of card space you have left? (I’m presuming it won’t tell you minutes) I can see the approx number of potential pictures left but since I have a 64GB card this never gets below 999 and I have no reference point. I’ve looked in the manual and around the net but I can’t find if there is a way. Does anyone know?

Do this carefully. Go into the format menu and it will show you a bar graph of how much card space is left. Just make sure you are careful or you will format your card, although it takes a turn of the dial and 2 button presses to do this.
