    How many comps do I have selected?

    I have a couple of hundred comps in an AE project. I have selected several dozens in the project panel and I need to know how many I have selected (for counting purposes). Anyone knows if AE tells you this? If so, I can’t find it anywhere.

    I’m surprised it doesn’t just tell you at the top how many you have selected.

    If you have selected them you could drag them onto the Create new composition icon in the project panel and select single composition in the pop up. Just look at your total layers in this new comp and you have your number. Then delete the comp you just made.
